“I highly recommend Stephanie to all new moms! Three months postpartum, I started to experience thumb/wrist pain and also more tension than usual in my shoulders and back. During a home visit, Stephanie observed me feeding, holding and wearing my baby, and showed me simple adjustments in my positioning. As a second time mom I thought I had figured out comfortable nursing positions, but Stephanie suggested a few changes that have made nursing even more relaxed. My wrist and thumb pain have greatly improved and I’m much more mindful about handling my baby and performing everyday activities with ease. Stephanie is also a wonderful emotional support. I wish everyone could have access to Stephanie’s knowledge and warm presence during the fourth trimester and beyond!” - BAI

“After giving birth to my son two months ago, I started experiencing "mommy wrist," thumb, and elbow pain. A doula recommended that I meet with Stephanie to help alleviate the discomfort. We did a twenty minute Zoom consultation, followed by an at-home hour-long session where she helped me make ergonomic adjustments for feeding, picking my son up from his bassinet, etc. She also did massage work on my wrist and arm, showed me stretches I could use moving forward, and taped up my wrist using kinesiology tape. She was both knowledgeable, as well as empathetic as an experienced mom herself. I would highly recommend working with Stephanie! I felt much better after a single session.” - NS

“I saw Stephanie for wrist pain that developed over the first couple months of my son's life and got so bad I would grimace when I picked him up out of the bassinet each morning. She assessed how I was carrying/holding, feeding, and changing him, then showed me how I could position myself better to reduce the strain. She also showed me an option for a wrist brace and demonstrated stretches. Her strategies made a big difference and I passed them along to my husband too! I probably wouldn't have sought out therapy at a clinic because of logistics, so it was perfect that Stephanie came to me, and just as valuable is the fact that's she's a fellow mom so she understands exactly what you're going through. Not just in terms of physical changes, but also the mental and emotional adjustment to motherhood, which can be so, so tough. I plan on recommending her to any of my mom friends in need!” -SRT

“I met with Stephanie while pregnant with my 2nd. It was so helpful to brainstorm different ways to prevent back pain during breastfeeding which I suffered from with my 1st. She was useful in showing me different positions and “no nos” to avoid pain. Additionally, I will be sharing a bedroom with my newborn and she was helpful in showing me smart ways to organize my space (e.g. clothing, diaper station) to use my current furniture as we don’t have space for more. Highly recommend!” -AE

“Stephanie provides the type of support you would want from a best friend. I truly feel welcomed to talk about anything with no judgement, while receiving both personal and professional advice. It is deeply comforting to know that Stephanie has experienced many of the toughest parts of motherhood and has developed this desire to help others going through the same thing. Stephanie radiates a kindness and genuine sense of caring that uplifts and helps me to persevere when I feel overwhelmed. The practices Stephanie shares with me are designed specifically for my situation and are easy to incorporate and continue within my lifestyle. I am so thankful to have this support and guidance from someone who understands motherhood and all the joys and struggles that entails.” -TS
